ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- No one was hurt after a single-engine plane caught fire as it was preparing to depart from Northeast Florida Regional Airport Monday night, authorities said.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire, which broke out about 8:15 p.m., according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue. Everyone on board escaped without injury
The cause of the fire, which authorities suspect started in the plane's engine, is still under investigation.
