A motorcycle lost control and crashed on SR 200 near Gressman Dairy Road Sunday morning. Another vehicle drove into the crash scene and hit one of the passengers and debris from the crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday. It is unknown why the motorcycle lost control and veered into the grass median. Both of the passengers of the motorcycle came to rest in the left travel lane.

A vehicle traveling westbound drove into the scene of the motorcycle accident and hit Shannon Bollinger, 29, the passenger of the motorcycle. She was pronounced dead.

Curtis Bollinger, 47, the driver of the motorcycle, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Alcohol was not a factor for the driver or passenger of the vehicle. It is still unknown whether alcohol was a factor for the driver and passenger of the motorcycle.
