JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were shot during an armed robbery at an apartment complex on the Westside Sunday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
At 2 p.m., police responded to the incident at the Finley Apartments at 9541 103rd St., JSO said.
"It looked like he may have been signaling for help to them before I got over there," a witness said. "Once I got out of the car, they walked up to him and I saw him collapse onto the ground."
While working the scene, officers said another shooting occurred and the victim was a walk-in at a local hospital. The victim told police he had been shot during a robbery.
JSO said both incidents happened at the same apartment complex at around the same time. Both victims are being hospitalized in stable condition.
Police said a gray vehicle was involved in the incident and one person was on foot.
JSO is still working to determine if one of the victims is a suspect.
