The St. Johns County Utility Department issued a boil water notice for St. Augustine Beach on Tuesday due to a water main break in the area.
About 99 homes are impacted by the notice on the following streets:
- Willow Drive
- Oak Road
- Lakeshore Drive
- 16th Street
Residents in this area are asked to boil their water to a rolling boil for at least a minute before they drink or cook with it, as well as brush teeth or wash hands and dishes.
The notice will remain in effect until the department lifts it. They said it should take about two days.
