JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has identified the skeletal remains discovered in Northwest Jacksonville last week to be an 18-year-old who went missing last year.

The remains found in the 6700 block of Utsey Drive belonged to Corbin Odell Johnson, JSO said.

Johnson was last seen July 11, 2018. His friends and family say he was last seen at a Valero gas station at 10870 Harts Road in North Jacksonville.

His parents said they knew something was wrong when he didn't return their texts the next day.
