60-year-old man ejected from vehicle in Arlington crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 60-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital Monday afternoon after he was ejected from his vehicle which crashed in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened in the 3000 block of Townsend Boulevard. The man was driving southbound when JSO said he lost control of the wheel, hit a palm tree and was ejected through the windshield.

He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Townsend Boulevard from Berrywood Lane to White Birch Drive is closed for several hours and traffic is being diverted into an alternative route.
