For those looking for a way to honor those lost that day or simply take a moment to reflect, here are a few events that happened Wednesday morning along the First Coast that you may consider watching:

  • Jacksonville International Airport

Staff members at the Jacksonville Airport have a moment of silence to remember those lost in 9/11.


  • Naval Station Mayport Flag Raising

Naval Station Mayport hosted a 9/11 flag-raising event at 8 a.m. 


  • Glynn County 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Hosted by the Jacksonville Sister Cities Nantes Committee, this annual concert will take time to commemorate the survivors, victims, and families of the 9/11 tragedy. The event is hosted by the Jacksonville Sister Cities Association in partnership with St John's Cathedral, Jacksonville Area Schools, Community Musicians, JFRD Color Guard, and OneJax at the University of North Florida.
