ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy from Orange Park was arrested on Monday for reportedly using the live video app Periscope to make shooting threats against a school in Hanover, Va., according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the teen posted comments on a live feed of a talent show that took place at Hanover High School on Saturday, saying he was "...about to shoot that school up.”
The teen also said, "U better watch out because I'm coming right now," deputies said.
The comments were traced back to 198 Arora Blvd. in Orange Park, where Clay County deputies said they made contact with the suspect.
The teen has been charged with making written threats to commit great bodily harm or death, according to the arrest report.
The suspect was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Jacksonville where he remains in custody, deputies said.
