BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Nine Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support, or GNETS, schools will close following evaluations of facility sites.

Students attending Coastal Academy through the Glynn County School System GNETS program will transition to a new facility at the Risley Annex in Brunswick, GA.

70 students will move into ten classrooms in a wing of the Risley Annex.

The newly announced change of location is not expected to have any negative impact or interruption to the schedules for Coastal Academy students, Howard Mann, Superintendent of Glynn County Schools, said.

Facility closures will also be held in Carrollton City, Appling and Toombs County, Tift County, Dougherty County, Baldwin County and McDuffie County.
