JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is dead and several people have been detained following what appears to be a stabbing incident on Jacksonville's Westside Thursday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says around 5:45 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of Lennox Avenue in reference to a person stabbed.
An adult man located inside an apartment with what appeared to be a stab wound, JSO says. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
JSO says that an argument occurred inside the apartment prior to the incident. Currently, JSO says three people who were inside the apartment during the incident are being questioned.
