JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is expected to be OK after a shooting on Jacksonville's Westside Friday night, according to The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Just prior to 5 p.m., officers responded to a hotel located in the 6100 block of Youngerman Circle regarding a person shot. At this time, it's not clear what hotel that is.
Officers located a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to his lower extremities.
Police say the man was rushed to a nearby hospital is listed in non-life-threatening condition. The initial investigation has revealed the victim was outside a hotel room when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The suspect then fled the area.
