JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was injured after being shot along the Arlington Expressway, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
At about 4 p.m., a woman was walking on the sidewalk in the 6200 block of Arlington Expressway when she was shot, police said. A bystander took the woman to the hospital, where she has non-life-threatening injuries.
Police responded to the shooting at about 5 p.m. after receiving a call from the hospital.
Police did not provide any information on a possible suspect.
