A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot on the Westside Saturday night.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said they were called out to the 7000 block of Wiley Road in reference to a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found the victim on the front porch of a home suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was transported to the hospital by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that detectives questioned everyone inside of the residence, but at this time, they don't know the motive for the shooting. There are also no outstanding suspects.
