The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man dead in Moncrief Saturday afternoon.
The shooting happened at 4600 N Ken Knight Drive, where police found a man between the ages of 25 and 30 years old lying in the road. The victim was transported to UF Health where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Witness told police a black SUV, possibly a Honda Santa Fe, was seen speeding northbound from the area with two men inside.
Police are still working to determine a motive for the shooting.
