JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville firefighter was shocked Thursday night while responding to a scene in the Atlantic Boulevard Estates area.
In a Friday update, JFRD says the firefighter has been released and is on light duty.
The fighter was shocked while rescuing a person from a fire at a mobile home on Patterson Circle South near Lee Road, officials say.
The firefighter was rushed to the hospital and was treated for their injuries.
The fire is now under control.
