JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: Community group identifies man found dead after fire on Lenox Avenue
A man was found dead during a fire at an abandoned property on Lennox Avenue Monday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department responded to the fire, in the 4100 block of Lennox Avenue, at approximately 10 a.m.
They found an adult man inside of the building.
He was pronounced dead on scene.
Cause of death in this case is still undetermined.
The case is being investigated by the Homicide Unit, Fire Marshall and crime scene detectives.
