JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Norah Sproles, 6, is a patient at the Nemours Children’s Specialty Care and has been since birth. This Jacksonville native was born with Myelomeningocele - the most severe form of Spina Bifida.
Norah is also a master chef.
You see, she is the creator of "The Norah Donut" a donut specially made by this spunky 6-year-old and a donut available for purchase at the Mini Bar.
At the end of the April, The Mini Bar will donate 100% of sales from the donut Norah invented to Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, a not-for-profit organization that each year provides outpatient specialty care to more than 84,000 children at its Northeast Florida locations.
Norah’s donut will be sold in packs of 3, 8, 16 or 24. Each donut costs just $1 each. The donuts will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, April 3.
The Mini Bar is a local donut and coffee shop owned by Jacksonville natives. The donuts at The Mini Bar are about one-third the size of a traditional donut and are all made to order. Which means you always get a hot and fresh donut.
