Mandatory evacuations announced in Flagler County

Residents in Zones A, B, and F will need to evacuate by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Flagler County officials have announced a mandatory evacuation for residents beginning at 12 p.m. Monday.

Zones A, B and F are under the evacuation, which includes mobile and manufactured homes. Evacuations need to be completed by 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Flagler officials also set a curfew at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 for all evacuation zones until further notice.

A general population, pet-friendly shelter will open at Bunnell Elementary. 19 people are already staying at a special needs shelter in Flagler, with more expected.

The Flagler County Sheriff says a curfew will go into effect Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Zones A, B and F until further notice.
