JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—A local man died Friday after falling off his roof doing repairs during Hurricane Matthew in Jacksonville, his local church says on Facebook.
The man fell off his roof around 1 p.m. and was taken to Memorial Hospital, where he was later taken off life-support around 4 p.m., the post says.
The post says he'll be missed by his family and that he went to his final home.
