JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At 10 a.m. Sunday morning, the Berkman II building, the longtime eyesore of Downtown Jacksonville, was finally imploded.

Thousands of people came out to watch the implosion from the Southbank, from boats and kayaks in the St. Johns River and from many other vantage points around the Downtown area.
