Helicopter surveys damage around First Coast after Hurricane Dorian

As of Thursday morning, Dorian is pulling farther away from the First Coast with hurricane conditions likely over portions of the coastal Carolinas on Thursday.

First Coast News surveyed damage sustained along the First Coast on Thursday after impacts were felt from Hurricane Dorian on Thursday. 

Parts of the First Coast experienced gusty winds as well as flooding in coastal regions and in low-lying areas on Wednesday as a result of the storm. Waves rocked the Jacksonville Beach Pier and an FCN crew was on scene in Davis Shores when floodwater from Hurricane Dorian started covering roads.

As of Thursday morning, Dorian is pulling farther away from the First Coast with hurricane conditions likely over portions of the coastal Carolinas on Thursday.

All warnings and watches have been canceled for southeast Georgia and northeast Florida.
