GEORGETOWN, Texas — One man was arrested after a reported road rage incident that started in Georgetown on Sunday afternoon.
Around 12:30 p.m., Georgetown police received multiple 911 calls about a road rage incident that began on the north end of town on southbound Interstate 35. Witnesses reported the driver of a beige 2005 Chrysler 300 was displaying a handgun at other vehicles and fired the weapon several times.
The Round Rock Police Department was notified the suspect's car was entering its city, and officers were able to stop the vehicle outside Rudy's BBQ at 2400 N. I-35.
Police arrested 38-year-old Reymundo Ferrel-Castaneda, of San Antonio, for a revocation of parole warrant and felon in possession of a firearm. Additional charges may be brought.
No injuries were reported and there is no threat to the public, police said.
