The culinary elves at some Jacksonville restaurants are accepting reservations for dine-in or to-go orders for Christmas dinner.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many restaurants only are doing takeout holiday meals leading up to Christmas Day, when they will be closed. But some eateries will be open on Christmas with dine-in table service with reservations.
Christmas take-out options
The following restaurants are offering Christmas meals-to-go. If in doubt check directly with the eatery.
Ida Claire South of Ordinary
Address: 10209 River Coast Drive at St. Johns Town Center
Offering: Christmas dinner kits that feed four or eight people. Price varies depending on the size of the dinner kit.
Cost: $90 or $160 for honey maple-glazed ham dinner. $140 or $240 for prime rib dinner. Each option comes with scalloped Yukon Gold potatoes, roasted winter vegetables, buttermilk cornbread with honey butter, ambrosia salad and snickerdoodle cookie dough. | Full menu

Medure Brothers restaurants
Offering: Take home Christmas dinner with choices of cocktails, appetizers, soup or salad, entrees. side dishes and dessert. All items will be pre-cooked and ready to reheat.
Cost: Entrees range from $30 for maple-glazed ham, $170 for prime rib, $32 for chicken française and $69 for venison Schnitzel. Two portion sizes — serving 4 or 8 people — available. | Full menu

Offering: Two rounds of holiday meal packages — one for Christmas Eve and the other for New Year's Eve. People also can order from and ala carte items. Meals serve four to eight people depending on the selection. All come with reheating instructions. | Full menu.

Cost: Holiday boards range from about $47 to $56 depending on number of servings and ingredients. Christmas meals-to-go entrees range from $20 to $80 for Italian cherry-glazed ham, or $30 to $120 for pepper-crusted bee roast filet.
