A warrant has been released Thursday for Officer Zechariah Presley who was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter after police say he shot and killed 33-year-old Tony Green in Kingsland, Georgia.
Presley turned himself in Wednesday and was charged with voluntary manslaughter and violation of oath of office, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
The officer shot and killed Green following a traffic stop on June 21, according to the Kingsland Police Department. Green fled from Presley and Presley pursued him, eventually making contact. Presley fired multiple shots at Green and killed him, the GBI reports.
Presley is being held in the Glynn County Jail, according to the Glynn County and Camden County Sheriff's Office. He is being held on hold for Camden County.
