The suspect of a deadly McDonald's drive-thru shooting that happened on the Southside was indicted for first-degree murder, the State Attorney's Office announced on Friday.

Back in August, 32-year-old Jaime Lawyer, better known as Jaime Roque, was shot and killed inside her car at the McDonald's on Baymeadows Road.

The suspect, Rasheed Kareem, was also charged with armed aggravated stalking, armed burglary, shooting into a vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the State Attorney announced.

Roque was the mother of three boys.
