A commanding officer of the Jacksonville helicopter squadron has been fired, reports say.
According to The Navy Times, Commander Jeffrey "Coach" Franz was relieved of command of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 70 on Wednesday because of what Navy officials characterized as a "loss in confidence in his ability to command."
