Clay Co. deputy injured on motorcycle after vehicle pulls out in front of him

A deputy with the traffic unit was riding his motorcycle along CR-218 near Long Horn Road when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, which caused the deputy to collide into the vehicle.

A Clay County Sheriff's deputy was injured in a vehicle crash after a car pulled out in front of him in the Clay Hill area on Wednesday.

CCSO said after 6 p.m., a deputy with the traffic unit was riding his motorcycle along CR-218 near Long Horn Road when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, which caused the deputy to collide into the vehicle.

He was taken to the medical center. CCSO said while the deputy has sustained injuries, he is in stable condition.
