JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A fire broke out at the Fleet Logistics Center at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on Tuesday, according to a NAS Jacksonville spokesperson.
The fire broke out while a contractor was working on the roof of the building.
The building was evacuated and the fire was put out shortly after 1 p.m. with help from JFRD and NAS Jax firefighters, JFRD said.
Workers have since been allowed to return to the center.
