Red Cross was requested for three children and two adults Thursday after an apartment fire on Century 21 Drive, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

At 9 p.m., firefighters said they were responding to a fire with smoke showing at an apartment complex located in the 400 block of Century 21 Drive.

By 9:11 p.m. firefighters had called the fire under control and said that the all-clear had been given after a search.

Red Cross was requested for two adults and three children, firefighters said. At this time, there have been no reports of injuries.
