COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — One person is dead after the Florida Highway Patrol said they were driving the wrong way on US 441 in Columbia County.
A sedan driven by a 45-year-old man was heading north in the southbound lane of US 441. Near County Road 131, it struck a semi-truck head-on, the FHP reported.
First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the FHP. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the crash.
