JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- — The Kraken Cycleboat is part party pontoon, part spin class.
It's not as intense as a spin class, though, as you are certainly allowed to take pedal breaks during your 2 hour tour around downtown Jacksonville.
The boat does have a motor and a captain to guide things should the current be too strong, or people want to take a break from pedaling for a few minutes to enjoy the sights, or a beverage.
The trips can accommodate up to 16, and won't go unless at least six have signed up.
It's BYOB, as in you need to pack your own cooler with your drinks of choice and food. They also make stops along the way at River City Brewing Company or along the Southbank for breaks.
