JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The law firm of Terrell Hogan is filing hundreds of lawsuits against local plastic surgeon, Dr. Loren Clayman.

"I represent about 150 women," said Attorney Chris Shakib.

Shakib, the lead attorney in the case, called his findings unbelievable. For the past two years he has built his case against the doctor.

He said when it started he knew he was touching the tip of the iceberg.

"It is what I was afraid it would be," said Shakib, "and it continues to be that. The phones have not stopped ringing."

Shakib said that since January his office has received 300 calls from former patients. He said they have been in the process of reviewing each one to see which ones meet the threshold.

"We have six or seven nurses, two epidemiologists, one anesthesiologist, investigators," Shakib said, "and everyone of them say they've never seen anything like this."

Shakib said patients would go to Clayman's miracle spa for breast augmentations and leave with problems.

In January, Lynea Parker one of his patients spoke about her experience.

"I can't sleep on my left side," Parker said. "I can't hold my child on the left side. There are very sharp pains underneath here." Parker is one of the 150 women filing suit against Dr. Clayman.

"The average woman has had three to five surgeries," Shakib said.

Shakib said when he began this process two years ago, he had no idea the case would be this big.

"I definitely did not expect it to be this many women, or as I went through the medical records I did not expect to find out how bad each case was," Shakib said. "That was surprising."

The cases are in the pre-suit process and should be officially filed within 90 days. We reached out to Dr. Clayman for comment and we have not gotten a response.

Currently his license is in good standing and there are no discipline actions against him in his public file.
