MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department reported 1,808 new cases over the last seven days. That makes a total of 266,953 cases and 3,399 deaths in the county since the pandemic began.
There have been 473 active pediatric cases over the last 14-day period.
The Shelby County Health Department has moved to weekly reporting.
Tennessee
The state of Tennessee reports an average of 2,689 new cases per day and 12 new deaths per day for the week of July 24 through July 30, 2022. There are a total of 2,206,913 cases and 27,030 deaths in the state since the start of the pandemic.
Mississippi
The state of Mississippi reports, as of Aug. 4, 2022, a total of 883,465 cases and 12,684 deaths in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.
Arkansas
The Arkansas Department of Health said there were 8,064 new cases and 50 new deaths in the latest update, released on Aug. 2, 2022. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 905,824 and 11,728 total deaths.
