Baptist Health announced on Thursday that it is planning to open a new, two-story health and wellness center next summer in Nocatee.
At 83,000 square feet, it'll be called Baptist HealthPlace and will be situated on a 12-acre site west of the Nocatee Town Center and the Lakeside neighborhood.
The new health and wellness center will provide services in primary care, behavioral health, orthopedics, cardiology, women's services, pediatric care, rehabilitation services, have a YMCA and more.
"Baptist HealthPlace at Nocatee is designed to provide a full spectrum of services, with same- and next-day appointment availability, easy access to and communication with providers, online appointment scheduling and extended hours on weekdays and weekends," according to a press release.
Baptist Health opened Baptist Health Primary Care in the Nocatee Town Center in 2015. This will relocate to the new building once it's built. It's expected to double the number of providers.
