ST JOHNS COUNTY, FL- It is Friday, so that means it is time for our Student of the Week! This week it is Brieara Warren and she is a sophomore at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St Augustine.
She came to the school about four years ago and learned sign language when she arrived. She is a cheerleader, plays volleyball and works for the recreation department as well. Her favorite subject is world history and she is in several honors classes at the school.
Here is her advice for any students struggling in school.
"Get help from your favorite teacher and time management, that is important. Talk to your counselor because they always have other opportunities and advice to give, even if you think they may not know, they are a lot of help," tells Brieara.
She is currently in duel enrollment classes and should have her AA degree before she graduates! Brieara isn't sure yet what her career path will be, but she says she is taking a lot of classes right now to figure out what her passion is.
