The suspicious package found in the mailroom of the federal courthouse in Downtown Jacksonville Monday is not a threat to the public, according to the FBI.
At about 1:20 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious package at 300 N Hogan St.
The FBI said the materials will undergo additional laboratory testing. Normal courthouse operations have now resumed.
