Police are asking the community to help them identify a man wanted for an armed robbery in the Riverside area, according to a Thursday post by The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The pictured man is said to have entered a 7-Eleven store located in the 900 block of Margaret Street. He then demanded money from the clerk, police said.

He had his hand inside of his pocket as if he had a firearm and threatened to shoot the clerk, according to police.

Police said the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the area on foot.

Anyone with information related to the identity of the man is asked to contact police at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
