Man posing as Camden County Sheriff's Office employee, approaching businesses

The Camden County Sheriff's Office said that deputies and employees of the Camden County Sheriff's Office will always have identification cards or badges that signify their authority.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office is warning people about a man posing as an employee of the Camden County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies say the individual is a man in his early twenties who says that he is doing public relations work for The Camden County Sheriff's Office. 

At this time no further information is known about the identity of this individual.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office does not have a private individual representing its agency as a public relations officer, deputies said.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office said that deputies and employees of the Camden County Sheriff's Office will always have Sheriff's Office identification cards or badges that signify their authority.
