JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is expected to be OK after a shooting on Jacksonville's Westside.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says around 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a hospital regarding a person who arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Officers arrived and located a man who sustained two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was near the intersection of Ricker Road and Old Middleburg Road North when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim then drove himself to the hospital.
