JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people are expected to be OK after an altercation ended with a stabbing on Mayport Road Friday afternoon.
JSO said the incident happened at the Mayport Food Store around 2:18 p.m.
When officers arrived on the scene they found that two people had been stabbed. The suspect fled the area after the incident, police said.
The victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
JSO said the victims and the suspect were involved in a dispute that had been going on for some time. The individuals knew each other and there is no threat to the public.
