The Atlantic Beach Deputy City Manager, Kevin Hogencamp, was arrested over the weekend and charged with driving under the influence, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Hogencamp was arrested on Saturday and booked into the Duval County Jail, according to police records. He was released the same day.
First Coast News has requested his arrest report, which is pending.
First Coast News reached out to the City Manager of Atlantic Beach, Joe Gerrity, who said they are aware of the arrest.
"This is not something we take lightly," Gerrity said.
He said Hogencamp pledged this incident will not happen again.
