Putnam County man wins $1 million from $5 scratch-off ticket

A Putnam County man won the top $1 million prize playing a $5 scratch-off game.

John Madry, 46, of Interlachen played the $1 million Holiday Luck Scratch-Off game. He chose to take the one-time lump-sum payment of $760,000.

He bought the winning ticket at Fast Track Foods, located at 932 State Road 20, in Interlachen. The shop will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The $1 million Holiday Luck scratcher launched in October of 2019. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.07.
