Bite Squad looking to hire 200 delivery drivers in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Need a job? Bite Squad, an on-demand food ordering an delivery service, is looking to hire 200 new contract drivers in the Jacksonville area.

Bite Squad says the positions will help satisfy the continued demand for delivery from restaurants while offering jobs during a time when many companies are cutting back their workforce.

The company provides masks, gloves and sanitation spray to all of its drivers. It also offers a no-contact delivery method for all restaurant orders.

Bite Squad drivers will be able to start immediately once they are activated as independent contractors. Requirements include a valid driver license, proof of auto insurance and a smartphone, as well as being 18 years of age or older.

The company's head of driver operations, Chris Barnes, says drivers can enjoy flexible schedules and considerable earnings. One driver reported earning more than $9,500 last month alone, he said in a news release.
