Jacksonville-based Pet Paradise plans 5 new sites

Pet care provider to open three new locations in Northeast Florida, one in Central Florida and one in Texas

Pet Paradise announced it is expanding its footprint with five new properties, now close to 50 in operation or under development nationwide.

The Jacksonville-based pet care provider offers boarding, day camp, grooming and veterinary services.

“We continue to expand in high-growth markets throughout the country and expect to close on an additional eight to 10 sites in 2020,” said Pet Paradise President and CEO Fernando Acosta-Rua.

The new locations on Florida 200 in Yulee, Plantation Boulevard in Fleming Island, Center Place Way in St. Augustine (World Golf Village), Lake Nona in Orlando and Stone Oak in San Antonio.

They are projected to open in 2020 and the beginning of 2021.

Pet Paradise also recently opened in Oakleaf in Clay County.
