JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After months of being closed, Sweet Pete's Candy announced that it will reopen on Black Friday, Nov. 23.

The store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., promising new changes, decorations and plenty of sweet treats!

The Downtown store, located at 400 N. Hogan St., temporarily closed in early August. They announced that the closure was in response to building repairs, but customers were able to order candy online.

This news comes after the Candy Apple Cafe -- best known for "out-of-the-box" French-inspired southern cuisines and cocktails -- closed down permanently because the owners, Jennifer and Liz Earnest, said on Facebook "we are simply unable to overcome the revenue losses we have incurred."
