The Cummer Museum of Arts & Gardens will offer free admission to all guests starting June 21 and lasting until Sept. 6 as part of its Summer Fridays program.
The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville is offering free admission this weekend following the tragic mass shooting at a church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Experience the sights and sounds of the Cummer Museum in a brand new way with FREE Summer Fridays! 

The Cummer Museum of Arts & Gardens will offer free admission to all guests starting June 21 and lasting until Sept. 6 as part of its Summer Fridays program.

The event lasts from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature food, drinks, art and an abundance of entertainment options.

Guests can roam the permanent collection of exhibits and gardens while listening to live music or enjoy the lawn games set up around the grounds.

Each Summer Friday will have a theme which highlights the art and entertainment of a specific country or region. Here is the complete list of themes: 

  • June 21: Summer Solstice: Célébration du Solstice d’Été
  • June 28: Cummer Gardens in Full Bloom
  • July 5: Freedom Friday: Food, Fun, and Festivities
  • July 12: Summer in the City: New York, New York
  • July 19: Sunshine State: Flora, Fauna and Fun
  • July 26: Soulful Summer Celebration
  • Aug. 2: Al Fresco Friday: Art Italiano
  • Aug. 9: Museum Mysteries and More
  • Aug. 16: Recognizing our “Roots”
  • Aug. 23: Riviera on the St. Johns
  • Aug. 30: Latin American Celebre’
  • Sept. 6: Au Revoir French Moderns and Summer at the Cummer
