Dogs in tiaras and guests in wedding dresses: a Jacksonville royal wedding watch party pulls out all

Robertson is expecting royal family fans to show up as early as 6:00 a.m.

One of the fanciest royal wedding watch parties this side of the Atlantic is happening Saturday morning in the perfectly-named Queen's Harbour.

Suzanne Robertson is expecting over two dozen guests first thing in the morning.

"We have a few who said they're going to wear their wedding gown," Robertson said. "But for everybody, the requirement is a fascinator, or a wedding veil, a tiara…whatever British type attire you can find."

Even Grace, the family golden retriever got into the spirit in a cardboard princess tiara.

Robertson and three friends spent their Friday preparing.

Valerie Fain brought the color.

"I don't like to cook, so I said, 'I'm not bringing any food but I'll bring the flowers,'" Fain said.

Carol Wright brought the romance.

"I think it's every little girl's dream come true," Wright said. "Meghan Markle is marrying a prince and they truly seem to be so much in love."

Linda Connor is on cake duty, but she's not just making any old cake for the party. She's following the recipe from Violet Bakery in London which is making the cake for the royal couple.

"The only one I could find was in grams, so I had to convert it," Connor said.

(The "practice cake" she let me taste Friday was really really good.)

The party cake makes it's debut Saturday morning when Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot.
