The Buzz: FBI warns of 'Zoombombing' trend amid coronavirus outbreak

Reports of conferences being disrupted by pornographic images and threatening language are on the rise.

Across the country, Zoom video conference calls are being interrupted by hackers spewing hate speech and disturbing images. It’s called ‘Zoombombing’.

The FBI issued a nationwide warning Monday as more people turn to the Zoom software to host large meetings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Here's the Buzz: Reports of conferences being disrupted by pornographic images and threatening language are on the rise.

Zoom says links to a video conference should be sent to participants, never shared publicly to social media. The company also encourages its users to review settings and report incidents to its support team.

Here’s a tip: Mark your meetings private and require a password for all participants. This will keep control of who is granted access into the call and lessen the chances of 'zoombombing' from happening to you. 

Walgreens teams up with Postmates

The corner of healthy and happy is coming straight to your door.

Here's the Buzz: Walgreens is teaming up with Postmates to allow customers to order over-the-counter medications, household essentials and convenience products.

Customers can place the order through the delivery app Postmates, or by visiting the company's website.

However, due to a high-demand, some items may not be available in the inventory.

Kids now have Spotify

Spotify is finding new ways to get children excited about washing their hands. 

Here's the Buzz: The music streaming app is launching Spotify kids which has 30% more content, including 8,000 songs, playlists and stories to keep kids' attention.

The "wash your hands" playlist offers youngsters hygiene tips in the age of coronavirus.

Mattel launches virtual playroom

Parents we get it, at this point it's probably tough entertaining the kids but Mattel may have a solution.  

Here's the Buzz: The company launched the Mattel Playroom, a new digital resource for parents and caregivers.

It features activities from the company's iconic portfolio of brands including American Girl, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Thomas and Friends and more.
