Good Friday morning everyone.
I have a running beef with Bob Vila. Years ago, I challenged him out at the Home and Patio Show to see who could really build a better birdhouse.
I got no response. Of course it was a joke (maybe). However, it always pops up in my memories during this time of the year.
THE HOME AND PATIO SHOW
I love this event. Absolutely love it. It's here this weekend at the Prime Osborne.
Listen, Jacksonville features all kinds of wonderful shows and conventions. My favorites include the Southern Women's Show, the Boat Show and THE HOME AND PATIO SHOW.
I used all caps because H & P is by far my favorite.
Let's not get confused here, I don't love it because I'm handy. No, I like it because it gives me the illusion that I can be handy.
"Oh, sure, I can build that hot tub surrounded by all brick pavers with a 69-inch television built into the wall and accompanying sound system installed into the trees around my house!"
Sure I can. Anyway, go get inspired this weekend at the big show. I can't wait to see your work.
JAGUARS
Jaguars football heading to the Rocky Mountains to take on the Denver Broncos. I know a large group of hometown fans are making the trip to the game.
I can't be there, but if one of you is reading this please bring me back a souvenir.
