Getting Kids in Healthy Eating Habits for Back to School (FCL Aug. 3, 2022)

Samantha Cartina, UNF Wellness Dietician has plenty of healthy back to school snacks and lunch ideas.

Samantha helps set the table with the basics of nutrition: protein, carbs, and fats so they provide our kids with more energy and brain-power to overcome the after-lunch crash. She also teaches us how to encourage our kids to have a healthy relationship with food. We also need to assess our child's energy needs especially if they have after-school activities.
